A home evaluation is a report that is prepared by a real estate agent which compares your property to similar properties in your area. Included in the report will be homes currently for sale and homes sold in the last 6 months through the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). It is NOT an appraisal, merely an estimate of value based on features and condition of your home compared to other homes in your area.
